A Fabulous Boho Wedding Shoot at Cheshire View
We’re delighted to share this fabulous boho-themed wedding shoot which took place at the stunning Cheshire View, with a particular focus on small outdoor celebrations to reflect the current times we’re living in. We hope this will give a boost of inspiration for couples who have perhaps felt disheartened by having to settle for a reduced size wedding.
Styling and concept
Bouquet & Bells were behind the coordination, styling and concept of this styled shoot. They were inspired by alfresco dining and open-air tents as a beautiful alternative for a smaller COVID-friendly wedding.
The perfect venue
Cheshire View was the perfect setting for this outdoor shoot. The team at the venue pride themselves on creating individual beautiful weddings filled with love and laughter. And with views overlooking beautiful rural Cheshire and a quaint outdoor terraced ceremony area, Claire from Bouquet & Bells just knew it was right.
This shoot was all about bringing the outside in and the theme was seamlessly continuous throughout the various locations within the gardens at Cheshire View.
The shoot even featured a white wedding bouncy castle, supplied by Naomi of White Castle Inflatables. See the video at the end of the blog for fantastic shots of this!
Bouquet & Bells just loved the laid back and fun feeling of this shoot. The laughing shots, jumping on the bouncy castle and lovely Belle the pooch all gave the day a relaxed vibe and made it stand out for all the right reasons!
Dog friendly
Belle the pooch was dressed for the occasion by Emma from Precious Pets Weddings in multiple bespoke outfits, including a bow tie and matching lead made to compliment the suits and gowns!
Bringing the outside in
Mike from The Canvas Tent Company showcased a large open-air sailcloth canvas marquee. Light flooded the interior, really helping to achieve the vision of bringing the outdoors in. Signature swooped roof lines and added fairy lights gave the space an extra special intimate feel.
Meadow inspired florals created by Caroline from Flowers at the Dutch Barn were used throughout the shoot with a mix of dried and fresh flowers for that real country feel.
Stunning photography
Sarah Brookes Photography did an incredible job of capturing the model brides and groom in each setting. She made everyone feel at such ease as she photographed staged poses, but managed to catch shots off-guard too.
The perfect ceremony
For the big moment, celebrant Jennifer Walker held a mock ceremony under Cheshire View’s new outdoor gazebo, which offers the perfect picturesque backdrop for an outdoor ceremony.
As a celebrant, Jennifer specialises in creating personalised and memorable ceremonies that are as wonderfully unique as you are!
The ceremony’s key moments were beautifully captured on film by Shannon & Jack of Walsh Films, who also put together a fantastic montage of the entire shoot (featured at the end of this blog).
Fabulous gowns and suits
The gowns were handpicked by Tracy from Cherish Bridal and were finished off with a brand new ‘I love you to the moon and back’ veil. Bespoke hand-embroidered denim jackets by Tamsin from The Emerald Fox were added for an edgy twist on the look.
Groom Formal Hire showcased three fabulous suits on male model Adam, each tailored to compliment the bridal gowns.
Interior decor, stationery and cake!
Nettie & Gillian from Aunt Tilly’s, together with Laura & Gabriella from The Event Edit, styled and dressed the Alfresco dining table among other areas. Neutral tones were used throughout to create a soft and whimsical feel.
Natalie from Glamour Events Hire showcased brand new bang-on-trend neon backdrops dressed with plenty of florals. These were the perfect backdrop for the Bride and Groom.
Lucy from Paper Swan Stationery showcased their new range, including menus, place names and invitations. Soft pink roses were added by Flowers at the Dutch Barn to finish off the look.
The boho theme continued through into the striking cake and desert table created by Sue from Elizabeth Anna Cake Design. Gold detailing was added for an extra fun twist. It really did taste as amazing as it looks!
Beauty
Hairby Kathleen and Jeanette Flynn Makeup Artist worked together to create two striking looks for our models, Rhianne and Charlie, drawing inspiration from a fresh springtime palette. Face jewels and glitter were added in for the final look to add a little festival twist. A flower crown was also added to bring the whole look together.
The video
To top it all off, the whole fabulous shoot was beautifully captured and set to music as a montage film by Walsh Films – enjoy!
