1. LAWN GAMES
Any outdoor games at your wedding will be great for guests. They will provide lots of fun and the opportunities are endless! Perhaps you could choose sports games such as table tennis, cricket or rounders, to encourage team work. Giant versions of games are also always great fun, such as Jenga and Chess. 3. PHOTO BOOTH
Photo booths are an absolute must and they are certainly getting more popular. It’s easy to see why! Your guests will have a blast going in again and again to have their photos taken. Different couples or groups can go in as many times as they like. You could try adding a few silly accessories like wigs and novelty glasses for your guests to play with. Many photo booth suppliers will provide their own. Plus, the photos will be a wonderful keepsake for your guests to cherish and remember your amazing day forever.

4. ANIMALS!
Having animals at your outdoor wedding will really make everyone feel one with nature. Children will love them and they can bring a sense of adventure to those who don’t get to see animals very much in the day to day! Some outdoor wedding venues such as farms may already have animals on sight, but other entertainment suppliers may provide them. Just remember to let your guests know the animals will be there, just incase anyone has allergies.

5. DIFFERENT REFRESHMENT STALLS
This is an important category. ‘Different refreshment stalls’ can be anything from bars, gin making, cocktail making or prosecco bar, to awesome street food vans with pizza, or barbecue and burritos! Or maybe a chocolate fountain! Your guests will need to be fed and watered, so have fun and get creative with all the endless possibilities! It’s always great to plan these around your theme too, if you have one.

6. FUN WAYS FOR YOUR GUESTS TO LEAVE NOTES
You will want to remember this day for the rest of your life. A great way to do that (apart from photos) is to have a guest book, of course. But if you want something that’s slightly more against the grain, come up with your very own way for guests to leave you a message. Something like a graffiti wall, with large pieces of paper you can take down afterwards. Or how about a Jenga tower, and people can write on each block!? Having a fun way of leaving messages may encourage more people to take part and the memories will be priceless.

7. SCAVENGER HUNT
Scavenger or treasure hunts will be a fun activity to break up the day. This will be ideal for woodland weddings, where there are lots of nooks and crannies for hiding clues. You could even award prizes for the fastest completion time to make it more interesting!

8. LIVE PERFORMERS
With this, we don’t mean musicians (we’ll get to that next) but everything else. Anything from circus acts- such as acrobatics or fire breathers- magicians or a caricaturist! Live entertainment such as this will be sure to wow your guests and keep everybody amazed. The possibilities of suppliers for weddings are endless these days, so you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for if you want your special day to leave your guests wanting more!

9. MUSIC
Music at a wedding is a must, no matter what the format or time of day. Perhaps you’ve always dreamed of a string quartet playing as you glide down the aisle? A solo guitarist is a lovely accompaniment for a wedding breakfast amidst light chatter. And of course, a live band or DJ to bring the house down so your guests can dance the night is away is always the most fun at the end of an amazing day. Whatever music you choose, it will go down a treat.

10. FIREWORK DISPLAY
What’s more romantic than a firework display? Finishing off a wonderful day with a beautiful display for everyone to enjoy will be the icing on the cake (no pun intended!). Perfect for an outdoor wedding, it will be stunning to illuminate the night sky and see your wonderful outdoor venue once again lit up in different colours. Finish your day with a bang.
