Located in Peasmarsh, just outside the picturesque town of Rye, East Sussex, this beautifully restored 17th century oak-framed barn is situated within a 400-acre working farm surrounded by stunning countryside views.
The farm has been owned by the same family for generations. Owners Mel and Steve are both passionate about The Cherry Barn and combine their experience and knowledge to ensure that every couple that celebrates at the farm has the perfect day.
The Cherry Barn is licensed for weddings in three gorgeous spaces:
– The Barn under the beautiful 17th century oak frames or under the lean to
– Under the oak-framed gazebo with views over the orchard towards the North Downs
– In our meadow/golden field, where you’ll be framed by oak trees and completely immersed in nature.
After your ceremony, celebrate in your own style within the grounds and the barn with no corkage for a drinks reception or for the wedding breakfast. Our team of experienced suppliers are there to help you plan every detail of your special day.
If you’d like to make a weekend of the celebrations, onsite there is a fully equipped large loft and a two-bedroom cottage which can be hired for your wedding, and we also allow glamping. The Cherry Barn’s weekend fee provides 48-hour exclusive-use dry hire.
