There is plenty to take your fancy here! Relax in your free-standing bath, take a stroll through the grounds, throw a penny in the fountain, play snooker in our 17th century games room or indulge and enjoy dinner cooked by your personal chef. The interior style is luxuriously refined but retains the character and original features of the building throughout. Beautiful, reclaimed marble floors & Venetian mirrors line the corridors that take you from the “I dos” to the party seamlessly. It’s a blend of wonderful antiques sitting harmoniously alongside the contemporary and new.

An innovative ceremony space providing a grand wedding setting, unlike any other.  This spacious chapel with seating for up to 120 guests, the most sumptuous finishings and beautiful ornate lighting.  It really is a hidden gem and the most romantic and splendiferous ceremony setting in the UK.

During your celebrations—be it one night or three— guests can rest in one of the seriously stylish 12 boutique bedrooms or annex rooms.  The choice of bedrooms, suites and cottages vary from Ancient original ceilings to cool loft-style living, with special features such as four-poster beds, private roof terraces, hot tubs and roll top baths.

We work to couples’ individual tastes and specifications with delights to suit every style of feasting.  This includes three-course wedding breakfasts, seven-course banquets, seafood feasts, relaxed picnics and barbecues, street food and fish and chips with curry sauce for all those seaside feels. Anything is possible, so long as it tastes good!
