Cornish Tipi Weddings is a magical woodland and lakeside venue clothed in ferns, bluebells and ancient oaks – perfect for a fairytale wedding day.
Wander across the stream over little wooden bridges to a wooded dingly dell, brilliant blue with bells in April/May and a palette of greens the rest of the season. This is where you can hang Chinese lanterns and bunting for really pretty after ceremony shots.
There are plenty of options for your outdoor ceremony at Cornish Tipi Weddings. The pavilion is set deep in the heart of a secret valley, or a personal ceremony can be held on the grass or by the lake. It’s when you go down to the lake that you can really let your imagination run wild – its the kind of location for wedding pictures that most couples and photographers can only dream of – couple together on the jetty, bride on a floating pontoon, rowing groom (we love our bride-in-a-boat shots). We are fully licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and also welcome more personal celebrant-led ceremonies.
After your ceremony, enjoy beautifully prepared drinks and canapés and allow your guests to get into the party mood while you have your fabulous wedding pictures taken. Then after an hour or so you’ll be off through the woods to your marquee reception in the meadow where dining and dancing await!
There are also lots of accommodation options for you and your guests onsite. Our tipis are ideal for couples, families or groups of friends wanting to create a festival style celebration, and we also take wild campers in the marquee meadow – anything from 2 man tents to camper vans, bell tents and caravans.
Declaring your love in front of family and friends is big stuff; whether you choose to make it country boho or festival cool is up to you – you do the pretty stuff and allow the specialist team to take care of the rest.
