About Anne
Hi there, I’m Anne. Bluebell Ceremonies is a really personal venture for me. The idea first came to mind when we organised my daughter’s naming ceremony. I thought what a privilege it would be to create and deliver such a wonderful celebration.
Relationships and families are formed in all sorts of ways and it’s my ambition to create beautiful events which celebrate these important moments in life, in whatever form they might take. So whether you’re gay, straight or somewhere in between; whether your family is formed through adoption, birth or blending; it really doesn’t matter, what matters is that you’re together and you love each other. Every relationship is wonderful and unique and I’d be thrilled to help tell your story.
I’m based in the lovely village of Barford St John on the edge of the Cotswolds, so I cover Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. I hold a Diploma in Celebrancy and love windy, sunny days, especially on the beach at Southbourne with my family.
I love language and the power and subtlety of words, so my quest is to create modern ceremonies that are personal to you; that recognise the joy and informality of life in the 21st century, but that carry moments of gravity and reflection too.
My delivery is warm and calm, creating a relaxed and inclusive event, which tells the unique story of your relationship.
I love outdoor ceremonies and my ‘little black book’ is bulging with all sorts of local venues, from woodlands and courtyards to lakesides and glampsites. I’ve got lots of experience of how to deliver a fabulous outdoor ceremony, so contact me to share ideas about locations, staging, audio, seating and lots of other special elements.
