Lisa was fantastic! From the first online meeting we had together we felt like Lisa was a perfect fit for us. We felt comfortable discussing ideas for the ceremony with her, and she provided a lot of help so that we felt prepared for it. The ceremony itself was excellent. Lisa spoke clearly, made the guests laugh and feel relaxed, and spoke in a sentimental way at the right times. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant!

We cannot thank Lisa enough for being our celebrant for our wedding ceremony. Lisa took the time to get to know us and delivered a ceremony that was personal to us. Lisa made us feel at ease and delivered a heartfelt, personal, jovial (at times) ceremony. Lisa kept us informed in the lead up to our wedding day and her communication with us was excellent. Lisa was adaptable and worked with us where last minute changes were required. Lisa provided advice on vow writing and what would work best from experience. We will forever be thankful for the beautiful ceremony we had and for choosing Celebrant in Cornwall.

We had to move our wedding plans at the last minute and found Lisa via google. From the off she made us feel so at ease, she listened to our story and completely ran with it. It’s no overstatement to say that Lisa made us feel like a close friend was officiating our wedding, she absolutely made the day as special as can be, and we can’t thank her enough. There are too few people in this world who personify kindness and honesty, but Lisa is absolutely one of those few. Where to begin with Lisa! In a few words, absolutely amazing! When we first found out that our venue didn’t hold ‘legal’ ceremonies and that ours would be celebrant led my husband and I were a little hesitant; however after a little research and speaking with Lisa I knew our ceremony would be one of our favourite moments of the day; and it definitely was! What a celebrant and more specifically Lisa can offer you is so much more than a typical wedding ceremony. From it being light hearted and fun, to so unique and personal to you as a couple I cannot recommend having a celebrant enough. If you are debating whether to have a celebrant and more importantly Lisa I would encourage you to take the opportunity! I promise, you won’t regret it! Lisa, thank you for all your hard work and dedication into making our ceremony nothing short of perfect. Not only is it one of my favourite memories of the day, but the compliments from the guests on how different and personal it was, makes it that much better! You really are brilliant!

Lisa was amazing right from the beginning. She has such a gentle and kind nature that put us at ease from the first communication with her. Our face to face meetings with her felt so comfortable and relaxed, like chatting with a friend. Lisa really got to know us, and created a ceremony that told our story perfectly. The ceremony was so personal and heartfelt, but with fun and light heartedness mixed in. All our guests loved it and so did we. We could not recommend Lisa more, she is exactly what every couple needs on their wedding day, a friendly face with a warm smile and a voice that calms any anxieties. After finding the perfect venue, the hunt for a celebrant was on. After our initial meeting with Lisa, it just solidified that we had made the right choice. She carries a warmth, which means you feel open to share personal moments and experiences so soon after meeting. This helped to make us both feel relaxed and supported, particularly as we worked on our vows with her help, and honestly, we could not have asked for more. We have had feedback from guests to say it was the ‘best ceremony they have been to’, ‘incredibly personalised’ and ‘just right for us both’- all of which we echo and more. It was perfect. Thank you so much Lisa for running such an amazing ceremony. It was absolutely perfect and just what we wanted! Most of our friends and family came up to us to say it was the best wedding ceremony they’d ever been to. Oscar was reluctant initially to have a celebrant but these were his words to me afterwards: “you were so right about asking Lisa to be our celebrant. I admit it!”

P.S. There aren’t many photos of Lisa being awesome because she kept discreetly stepping out the way for key moments. She was the quiet presence leading a beautiful ceremony that had everything in it that we wanted.

After first speaking to Lisa face-to-face on a video call, we knew she was exactly the type of person we wanted to tell our story. And what a story she told!

We were so, so happy with the draft she came up with (the questionnaire she sent made it all feel so easy—just make sure you’re detailed in your answers!) but, on the day, hearing her delivery was even better than we could have imagined.

Lisa totally captivated the room, balanced poignant and funny effortlessly, and we had so many comments afterwards about how unique and enjoyable the ceremony was.

She has such an air of authority and calm which gives you complete confidence in her (especially when you’re feeling the nerves and big emotions on the day!). And you can tell just by her demeanour that she’s done this so many times and that you’re in safe hands.

Where do we even begin with Lisa?! She came highly recommended by our venue and now we completely understand why. From her very first email and detailed questionnaires, she was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive. But it was after our intro call that we knew, without a doubt, we’d made the right choice.

We weren’t too familiar with how a celebrant-led ceremony worked – most weddings we’d been to followed a more traditional format – but choosing Lisa was one of the best decisions we made. She took the time to really get to know us, both as individuals and as a couple, and did so in the most effortless, natural way (like chatting to an old friend over coffee).

The ceremony was everything we had hoped it would be and more, filled with laughs, tears and so much love and happiness. I cannot leave a high enough review for Lisa, from the first day we met her we were greeted with the warmest smile and instant ease knowing she was going to give us the most perfect ceremony. She sent over her first draft which had us both in tears. With her attention to detail she tweaked a couple bits over the weeks leading up to our wedding and delivered the most meaningful, heartfelt ceremony. Lisa is absolutely fantastic and so attentive at what she does. We were made to feel so special throughout the entire process from enquiry to the day itself and beyond. The little touches that Lisa sent us, encouraged of us and supported us with made the whole process so wholesome and meant that we even made some dates nights out of some of the stages of the process! Wow – where do I begin! From the get go, Lisa was warm, friendly, funny, welcoming, and seemed genuinely interested in the two of us as a couple. She spent so much time before the big day making sure that the ceremony was suited to us, and making it perfect – which it absolutely was! Me and my partner were really keen on a laid back ceremony which focused on the two of us and our story, rather than your traditional ceremonies – Lisa completely ran with this and we were blown away by how well she captured “us”! She also took responsibility for aspects that we didn’t expect her to (like liaising with our sisters for a surprise reading as we couldn’t decide on a reading ourselves).

On the day itself, Lisa was super chilled (trust me, you need this on the morning of!), and delivered the most amazing ceremony! We had guests approach us throughout the day commenting on how amazing she had been. Honestly, by the wedding, I felt that we were having the ceremony with someone we had known for a while rather than a stranger we had only met over video call.

We cannot recommend Lisa enough – and if you are undecided on who to book, let this be your sign that the search is over! 🙂

Lisa was incredible from the moment we started working with her right up until our wedding day! When planning a wedding, you realise you’ve never before thought about the intricacies of a ceremony, the order in which things should happen, or the crucial timings. Lisa provided us with ideas and guidance for all of this and more, as well as always answering all questions we had, and provided a clear step by step process for putting our ceremony and story together. Without Lisa we wouldn’t have had been able to put together the ceremony we now look back on with such incredible fondness. Throughout our wedding day, a number of our guests came and asked us whether Lisa was a family friend, and were surprised when we explained that she wasn’t! We weren’t sure what to expect when booking a celebrant to renew our vows, but the first draft of our ceremony absolutely blew us away – it was outstanding. Lisa made us feel at ease from the very start, we lived over 300 miles away so all the planning was done through emails and video calls. She gave us plenty of help with location due to us not being from the area and we ended up renewing our vows on the most beautiful beach. Excellent service throughout, very friendly and professional. Lisa was our celebrant for our wedding and she was an absolute superstar from start to finish. Both me and my partner were a little bit nervous about the ceremony but she put us at ease straight away – it was like we’d known her for ages. The whole experience with both Lisa (who wrote our ceremony) and Sam who was our celebrant was enjoyable from start to finish. At all times Lisa kept us updated on timings, she put in time to get to know us both so well and because of that our ceremony was perfect. Lisa has an ability to weave in stories in the ceremony in a way which sounded like she had known us forever. Sam was our celebrant for the day, she was fun, calm and organised – helping to make us both feel totally relaxed throughout. She dealt so well with our niece who couldn’t sit still and a random cat which appeared – making everyone laugh throughout. From our very first conversation with Lisa, we felt so confident that she was the perfect person to help us create the perfect ceremony for us – she straight away picked up on our values and understood the atmosphere we wanted to create across our whole wedding day. We really wanted our ceremony to be fun, informal, relaxed and personal and Lisa definitely delivered all those things and more! We have had so many compliments from our guests on our ceremony, how it reflected us as a couple and how fun, interactive and emotional it was. Every single guest commented on our ceremony and how they’d never been to a wedding like it. Every part was thoughtfully written, it was moving, funny and so touching. The hand tying with our children was a great addition that we’d never have thought of until Lisa suggested it and we’re so glad she did. If you want a ceremony with a difference, that’s not generic, that’s written about the two of you, then Lisa is your woman.

From the moment we contacted Lisa, we knew that she would be the celebrant for us.

There was something about her that just fit with our style – Lisa is incredibly animated and enthusiastic about what she does, and the effort that she puts in is evident throughout. The content was made up of the history of us and our story and the warmth with which Lisa delivered this was felt by everyone present. When we first met with Lisa we instantly knew she was the celebrant for us. We loved everything about working with her and she exuded warmth at every interaction. Lisa was the celebrant for our wedding at Mount Edgcombe in Plymouth and she was friendly and professional from the outset. She was incredibly easy to work with and made us both feel totally at ease at every stage. Lisa was amazing to work with from start to finish! She got to know us so well and wrote the most perfect ceremony which completely reflected us as a couple. I had always thought as a bride I would want to get the ceremony over and done with in order to start the dancing. But the ceremony turned into my favourite part of the day!

Our wedding was postponed 3 times due to Covid and we reached out to Lisa in October of 2021 when our plans changed again. From the initial conversations on email and phone, it was clear we were on to a winner and felt like we had made the right decision.

We had a meeting where Lisa got to know us and in February she sent us an information gathering form which gave us giggles while completing it. From just this meeting and the document being completed, Lisa compiled the first draft.

Wow, she got us! There was nothing we wanted to change! She has such an amazing ability to understand who we are as individuals and as a couple. We were floored at how right she got it!

On the day, Lisa was just incredible where she took this document and created the base of our perfect wedding. The platform was set and the rest of the day just flowed. Lisa was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. We cannot thank you enough! Before booking Lisa, we had arranged for a registrar to come out on our wedding day and marry us. However we couldn’t push out the thought that we felt this was quite impersonal and we wanted our ceremony to be unique, special and not rushed.

From the moment I spoke to Lisa, I immediately felt at ease, she talked me through the process of how she worked and how she would work with us both leading up to the big day, getting to know us and would then write our ceremony.

The pair of us really enjoyed the whole process of working with Lisa, she was super friendly, kind and professional and when it came to the big day, she had our guests ‘eating out the palm of her hand’. Wow…we just cannot thank Lisa enough!! We are so so thankful that we found Lisa to lead our amazing wedding. From the moment we first spoke on zoom we knew she would be perfect. We didn’t want a stale wedding like everyone else and felt her pure love for her job shone through. From the beautiful way she wrote through to the delivery of our ceremony. We first got in touch with Lisa in 2019, shortly after we got engaged. Two postponements later, Lisa finally officiated at our wedding celebration in June 2022! She is so lovely, warm and kind and did an amazing job with the ceremony; patiently re-writing our ceremony script a number of times as our circumstances kept changing over the years.

We had so many compliments on how personal and special the ceremony was, and we’ve just had our wedding video back from our videographer and were blown away once again by how lovely it all was – albeit completely in line with the multiple comments we had from our guests along those lines.

We would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone getting married down in Cornwall or nearby in the future.

Wow, where to start… Lisa did an absolutely incredible job officiating our wedding. She really took her time in getting to know us as a couple, the story of how we met, and our own individual personalities too. She sent us a ceremony draft which reflected our initial conversation extremely well, and asked us for our input where needed. The script was amazing – engaging for the audience, captured our story perfectly, and had a real balance between romance and humour – perfect for us!

Lisa had the patience of a saint as it took us a while to get back to her emails while trying to balance work & wedding planning. She sent us gentle nudges when needed and we really appreciated this. On the day itself, Lisa was so helpful and welcoming towards every single guest that approached her. Our ceremony left almost every single person in (happy) tears and we really feel that it was the highlight of our day.

From the moment we met Lisa we knew that we had made the right decision to book her for our wedding. She was instantly warm, engaging and had a great knack at extracting all the details of our lives together and the lead up to the big day. So much so that when her first draft of the ceremony came in we didn’t feel the need to make any changes. It was perfect, loving, humorous and she had captured our journey and personalities perfectly.

When the big day arrived, she was there early and her calmness helped to dis-spell my nerves. She spoke to our guests and paid particular attention introducing herself to our closest family members. The reading was clear and warm and she made everybody feel part of our story. She absolutely made our ceremony, it was full of love and laughter and we can’t thank her enough.

The best thing to go wrong when planning our wedding was lack of registrar availability on our chosen date. It meant that we explored the celebrant option instead and we couldn’t be happier.

We had so many compliments about our personalised ceremony and it was all thanks to Lisa. She was an absolutely dream to deal with from our first conversation through to the big day.

Lisa was warm and engaging, she took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand our history then weaved our story into the most perfect ceremony. With her encouragement, we were brave and wrote our own vows from scratch and honestly, that was a highlight from the day.
