Welsh Green Weddings is a rural venue on Penybanc Farm in beautiful West Wales, perfect for those after an individual, personalised and more eco-friendly wedding. The highly professional team have been hosting weddings at the farm since 2011.
The farm’s walled garden is licensed for wedding ceremonies and comes complete with a hexagonal green oak pagoda, bridging the garden and walkway with stunning views over the valley.
The structure was made on the farm with oak from the local Coed-y-Bryn forest and some of the logs were even pulled out by horsepower. The flooring and steps are made from beech from a fallen tree on the farm, and the roof from second-hand local Welsh slates. Garden guest seating comes in the form of reclaimed pitch pine church pews, with additional hay bale seating available if needed. All couples are also offered the chance to plant a heritage Welsh tree as a green symbol of their celebrations.
A couple planning a smaller wedding of up to 50 people can opt to have the reception in the fabulous Old Dairy, or the venue’s British-made giant tipi can accommodate up to 160 guests for the wedding feast. This is located a short walk up the hill with fantastic views across the valley. Both conventional and glamping accommodation is then available for over 60 people on site. The farm has an experienced catering team and a fully stocked bar (or three) which major on Welsh and organic alcohol (and soft drinks).
With Welsh Green Weddings every wedding is unique, and the team at Penybanc Farm are more than happy to talk through the options with you and show you around their beautiful venue without obligation.
