Far, far away, in a magical place where time has stood still, in an almost forgotten valley nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, there stands an ancient sacred Norman church – the only trace of the now ‘lost’ village of Dode.
This unique, lovingly restored, deconsecrated church is available for exclusive-use weddings, naming ceremonies, renewal of vows, memorials and events for up to 42 people.
At The Lost Village of Dode you can choose to hold your celebrant-led ceremony outside within the unique Stone Circle, in the knowledge that if the weather turns you can still make use of the beautiful Norman church. With a celebrant there are lots of opportunities to make your ceremony truly unique, and this historic, memorable and romantic venue enables you to add your own personal twist to your special day.
After your ceremony guests can mingle in the stunning grounds, allowing you to have your group photos and enjoy a glass of bubbles while we set up for your Medieval-style banquet with all the trimmings! Then in the evening you can dance the night away and even retire to one of our superb award-winning cottage retreats to finish the day in comfort and style.
With all our knowledge, experience and carefully chosen suppliers, our passionate team are here to ensure you get the very best value for money and quality of service as you create your own enchanting love story at The Lost Village of Dode.
