Donna Marie Graves is an independent family celebrant based in Rhondda Cynon Taff, conducting ceremonies across South Wales.
I am an independent family celebrant based in beautiful South Wales, having moved from Cambridgeshire over 20 years ago to be with the love of my life!
I also have a professional background in teaching, public speaking, creative writing and the performing arts. Skills and experiences pertinent to creating and delivering both a professional and personal ceremony. I have utilised a much-needed sense of humour and the ability to be flexible in front of an audience, many times thinking on my feet for a ‘plan B’ and indeed on occasion ‘plan C’. According to clients, I am caring, compassionate, respectful, people focused and approachable. It is so important that you pick the celebrant with the right ‘fit’ for your important ceremony.
As a teacher of religion, ethics, philosophy, diversity and equality I embrace all views, values and lifestyles. Elements of humanism, spiritualism, symbolism or rituals can be added or amended to suit your ceremony. If you wish to have a ceremony that’s traditional, non-traditional, themed, rustic, laid-back or to include those important pets, then consider DMG Ceremonies. Our dog inspired us 16 years ago (see photo).
“People matter” guides my philosophy and approaches to life, friendship, experiences and business.
At DMG Ceremonies, I will provide you with the freedom to have a totally unique ceremony, down to the last details. Including venues, timing of the day, wording and vows/promises, readings, poetry, music, themes, values, rituals or symbolism, and involving whoever you want.
Your ‘one off’ ceremony will be forever memorable to all of those present; one that evokes smiles for years to come. I will work with you to handcraft a befitting and bespoke ceremony, celebrating your wonderful love and commitment.
