Stewart Ennis is a celebrant who offers funerals, weddings, naming ceremonies and other bespoke ceremonies in Glasgow and surrounding areas.
My background is in theatre and the arts. For the past 35 years I have worked as a writer (playwright, children’s poet and novelist) and actor. For several years I was Prison Creative Writing and Performance Lecturer at HMP Shotts. As well as my initial celebrant training with the excellent teacher Veronika Robinson, I have also carried out intensive training with Sue Gill & Gilly Adams of the wonderful Dead Good Guides.
My approach is quite simply to listen to the clients and to work closely with them, to create a beautiful and meaningful ceremony.
As you might expect from someone coming from a theatre and writing background, I have a love of words and rituals and am wide open to new creative ideas.
